 MSF is pleased to announce Living in Emergency: Stories of Doctors Without Borders has been selected by the International Documentary Association (IDA) to do an Academy Award qualifying run in New York City. After playing at several film festivals around the world, this is the first theatrical release of the film in New York. Please join us for this limited run. Living in Emergency is a film that takes place in war-torn Democratic Republic of Congo and post-conflict Liberia, and follows four Doctors Without Borders aid workers as they struggle to provide emergency medical care under extreme conditions. With different levels of experience, these medical humanitarians must find their own ways to face the challenges, the tough choices, and the limits of their idealism.
