Thanks for standing with us on World Diabetes Day!

MSF works in more than 70 countries worldwide, and in many of these settings, insulin is often not available in public health facilities or private pharmacies.

MSF has been engaged in providing lifesaving treatment for diabetes care in multiple projects across a number of countries (including Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq, Syria, South Sudan, Democratic Republic of Congo, Tanzania, Kenya, Zimbabwe, and Bangladesh) to people living in resource-limited and humanitarian settings.

Here are three actions you can take right now to support MSF’s work to make diabetes care more accessible to the patients we treat:

1.  Make a generous, tax-deductible donation to MSF to help us provide lifesaving care for diabetes and a host of other urgent medical issues around the world.

2. Visit and follow MSFAccess to learn more about the issue and see how you can help us advocate for equitable access to lifesaving diabetes treatment.

3.  Download and share these graphics on your social media to raise awareness about the urgent need to make insulin available to everyone, everywhere.

How you can help

Not everyone can treat patients in the field. But everyone can do something.

Some humanitarian crises make the headlines—others don’t. Unrestricted support from our donors allows us to mobilize quickly and efficiently to provide lifesaving medical care to the people who need it most, whether those needs are in the spotlight or not. And your donation is 100 percent tax-deductible.
