Video: “Nothing is safe” amid intense bombardment of southern Syria

Airstrikes on southern Syria sharply increased in late June, killing and injuring civilians and pushing tens of thousands to flee toward the Jordanian border. On June 26, a hospital supported by Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) in Al-Hirak, Daraa governorate, was hit and partially destroyed. MSF is supporting four other hospitals in southern Syria. In this interview conducted on June 28, MSF Field Coordinator Salah Daraghmeh describes what it’s like trying to provide health care in the region amid the gathering dangers.
