Dhi As Sufal hospital in Ibb governorate is spared from the bullets and bombs at the frontlines of Yemen's war. Here, MSF staff are busy treating patients suffering from the indirect consequences of the conflict. Since the collapse of Yemen's economy and public health system, people have difficulty getting access to medical care. They often can't afford transportation to the few functional hospitals remaining in the country. Raheeq, 11, and her father arrived at the MSF hospital after leaving a private facility where they could not afford surgery for her appendicitis. Now, after receiving free, high-quality treatment, she's recovering well.
